HOPE IN GOD in Punk / Pop
I’m so excited to introduce to you the album, “HOPE IN GOD” sung by my fabricated “girl band” VIRTUE. This album is close to my heart because it draws inspiration from the incredible wisdom and preaching found in Puritan John Durant’s book, “Comfort and Counsel for Dejected Souls”. We’ve made this book available through Puritan Publications and updated it for today’s readers. But more than that, we’ve taken Durant’s work and crafted songs from it, chapter by chapter.
Durant’s book speaks deeply to every believer who has felt the weight of spiritual struggles, doubts, or despair. We’ve all had moments where we feel distant from God, unsure of His grace at work in our lives, or have a hard time seeing exactly what he’s doing while we walk the Christian road of sanctification. Through this book and music, I want to remind you that no matter how deep the valley may seem, there is “HOPE IN GOD” through Jesus Christ.
With 27 tracks, this album is full of rich, spiritual truths that reflect Durant’s chapters. Watch the video for a few sample songs of the album.
With those who have listened to it, “HOPE IN GOD” has become a favorite genre. The download also includes a zipped file with the eBook version of Durant’s work. Through the updated project and this album, Durant’s biblical brilliance can reach another generation. Durant’s heart and Scriptural teaching are evident in every song, pointing us to look to Christ Jesus with hope and faith. So, no matter what frowning providences come your way, or how you may feel from one day to the next, remember this—there’s always “HOPE IN GOD”!
